Aurelion and Noctyra have never known one another. They exist apart, shaped by different histories, different values, and different forms of survival. Yet both begin to fail at the same time.
Energy systems destabilize. Cities fall silent. Skies change. Ancient structures begin reacting to a signal no one can identify. Then, in each world, a portal appears — identical in shape, impossible in origin.
